Bipods, rear bags and slings

The short answer

Start with a sling-stud Harris bipod and a filled rear bag: no drilling, under about $150 in total. Add an ARCA rail if you shoot NRL22/PRS (barricades, tripods). Get a simple adjustable sling (Magpul MS1) with QD or loop attachments that match your studs.

Factory T1x MTR stocks have sling-swivel studs; a Harris-style bipod clamps to the front stud with no drilling. For ARCA, the Mountain Tactical Arca-Lite (Tikka Arca-Lite) uses existing stock hardware. In chassis such as MDT Oryx and Grey Birch, use the M-LOK/ARCA forend (Oryx ARCA rail, MDT M-LOK Arca rail).

CZ 457

CZ 457 factory stocks with a front sling-swivel stud take a Harris-style bipod directly, with no drilling (owner reports; conf: med) RimfireCentral. If you want a Pic or ARCA rail, a stud-to-Pic adapter works, but owners report CZ's European-style studs may need a 3 mm cross pin ANT Supplies. We didn't find a published thread size for CZ's factory stud; measure yours before ordering a replacement. In a chassis (MDT Oryx CZ 457), use its M-LOK/ARCA forend.

Interfaces at a glance

Sling stud (factory wood/synthetic stocks): Harris clamps on directly; push-button QD swivels need a flush cup instead.
Picatinny: Atlas and Harris-with-adapter; fine for bipods, heavier than ARCA.
ARCA-Swiss: a dovetail rail that clamps straight into tripod heads and match bipods (Ckye-Pod). It's the PRS standard.
M-LOK: chassis forends; add an ARCA or Pic section where you need it.

Rear bags

Slings
