About T1x Builds

T1x Builds is an independent build and parts-compatibility guide for Tikka T1x owners. It is part of Rimfire Builds, operated by Tomahawk Designs LLC, Utah. Our sister site, 457 Builds, covers the CZ 457.

Mission

Help owners pick parts that actually fit, avoid known problems, and do basic work safely. We do that by putting the facts that are scattered across manufacturer pages, manuals, retailer listings, reviews and forums in one place, with every claim traceable to a source.

How we research and cite

Confidence ratings

Each claim has a badge: high (confirmed on the maker or retailer page or in the manual), med (credible secondary source, or seen only in a search snippet of the official page), low (single owner report or unverified). Low items are clearly marked and are never the basis of a recommendation on their own.

How we pick products

Independence and what we don't do

Our story

We are a group of rimfire aficionados from Utah. We love plinking, hunting, tinkering, building and shooting anything rimfire (and centerfire, too). We want to share our love of the shooting sports and pass these skills and this knowledge on to the next generation. Most of all, we want to have fun with our rimfire firearms.

What we're about

We're a group of rimfire aficionados based in Utah. We plink and hunt, we tinker and build, and we shoot just about anything rimfire, plus plenty of centerfire. This site is where we put what we learn so other shooters don't have to dig through a dozen forum threads to find it.

Why rimfire

Rimfire is where a lot of people start, and where a lot of us keep coming back. It's affordable to shoot, quiet enough to be friendly, and accurate enough to be humbling. A .22 bolt gun is a great platform for learning fundamentals, trying upgrades, and simply having a good day at the range.

Passing it on

We want to share our love of the shooting sports and pass the skills and knowledge on to the next generation. That means helping new and young shooters get started the right way: safety first, then the fundamentals, then the fun stuff. Our Start here page, sighting-in guide and range bag checklists are written with new shooters and mentors in mind.

Having fun

Most of all, we want to have fun with our rimfire firearms, and help you have fun with yours.
