New owner quick-start
- Check your thread pitch: US rifles are 1/2-28, UK/AU 1/2-20.
- Torque the action screws per the manual (7 Nm / 62 in-lb with a metal guard) — the T1x is torque-sensitive.
- Buy T1x-specific rails — T3x rails don't fit and rails are handed. Prefer 0–20 MOA; 30+ MOA can prevent a 50-yd zero.
- Expect a stiff bolt lift at first; a longer bolt handle helps.
- Leave the barrel alone — removal needs a barrel vise, heat and a gunsmith.
- See known issues and the ~$127 budget build.

The T1x uses the same trigger unit as the centerfire T3x.
[AR] 45° bolt
A 45° bolt lift — the T1x Ace Target press release calls it out for easy, fast cycling.
[ACE-PR] Two threads
US/Canada rifles are threaded 1/2-28; UK and Australia get 1/2-20.
[MAN-GMK] Million-rifle family
The millionth Tikka T3/T3x was built on 10 March 2020 — the ecosystem the T1x plugs into.
