Why: - Dovetail rings skip the rail entirely and save weight. - A quality drop-in trigger left at a field-safe weight. - Bedding with a Ti lug improves zero retention in the synthetic stock.
Note: the Hunter walnut stock is T1x-specific. The flush 5/6-rd mag (P041) keeps the profile slim.

All part IDs refer to parts.csv. Prices are the USD list/street prices recorded on 2026-10-08 and exclude the rifle, optics, ammo, tax and shipping. Rifle reference prices (variants.csv): MTR MSRP $649 (SI, Oct 2024), Hunter ~$799, UPR ~$1,319, Ace Target $1,549 (16 in) / $1,799 (20 in).
Common rules for every build: - Use T1x-specific rails. T3x rails don't fit (EGW: 2.508 in vs 3.245 in hole spread), and rails are handed. - Torque per the manual or the chassis maker. The T1x manual says 7 Nm (62 in-lb) with a metal guard. - Confirm thread pitch: US 1/2-28, UK/AU 1/2-20. - Trigger springs/triggers set below 2.5 lb go below Tikka's stated minimum, so label those builds competition-only and recommend gunsmith installation.
