Who we are

Rimfire Builds (rimfirebuilds.com, including T1x Builds and 457 Builds) is operated by Tomahawk Designs LLC, Utah. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

• Browsing: the sites are static pages. We run no accounts or logins. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security and operations.
• Analytics: none at present. If we turn analytics on, we plan to use Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless, aggregate), and this section will say so. We will prefer privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics.
• Forms: if you use the contact, share-your-build or newsletter forms once they are live, we receive what you type (e.g. name, email, build details) through a form provider to be chosen, or your own email app (mailto). Newsletter: provider to be decided; you can unsubscribe at any time.
• Planner and quiz: these run in your browser. Planner selections live only in the page and in the share link you create.

Affiliate links and cookies

Some product links are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer or its affiliate network (for example AvantLink, Awin, Impact, FlexOffers or Amazon Associates) may set cookies or use similar tracking on their site to attribute a purchase to us. We don't receive your name or payment details, only aggregate reports of clicks and commissions. Those companies' own privacy policies apply. You can block or delete cookies in your browser.

Cookies

Our pages don't set advertising or tracking cookies themselves. Our host, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from abuse. Affiliate networks and retailers may set their own cookies after you click an affiliate link, as described above. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; blocking them won't stop our pages from working.

How we use information

To answer messages, review build submissions you send us, send a newsletter you opted into, keep the sites secure, and understand which pages are useful.

No sale of personal data

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data only with service providers that run the sites (hosting, forms, email, analytics) under their terms, or when the law requires it.

Retention

Messages and submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond or feature a build (with your permission), then deleted. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete information you sent us. Depending on where you live (for example California or other US states with privacy laws, or the EU/UK), you may have more rights. Contact [email protected].

Children

These sites are for adults and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will update this page and its date when our practices or providers change.
