Which programs we use

We work, or apply to work, with affiliate networks and retailer programs such as AvantLink, Impact, Awin and FlexOffers. Each link in our parts data records which program (if any) it belongs to. Links with no program are plain links to the maker or retailer and earn us nothing. If we join Amazon Associates, we will add Amazon's required statement here: "As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases."

How this affects our recommendations

• Recommendations follow the cited research and fitment data, not commission rates. We link the same parts whether or not a program pays.
• We don't accept payment for placement, rankings or reviews, and no brand reviews our content before publication.
• We have not tested most products hands-on yet. Accuracy figures are cited from published sources, and our own results will be added in clearly marked "Our range results" boxes.

What we don't do

We never sell firearms, ammunition, suppressors or any products. Links go to retailers and manufacturers, who are responsible for lawful sale and any FFL or other transfer requirements. Suppressor law changed in 2026 (the federal tax is $0, and ATF said on Oct 9, 2026 that it will no longer enforce NFA approval or registration for suppressors), but state laws still apply; see our state-by-state summary.
