Rimfire competitions for the 457

Every major organization where a bolt-action .22 can compete, with the equipment caps that matter. Researched 2026-10-11 from official rulebooks; always check the current rules.

The short answer
Start with NRL22 (monthly, about 100 yd, Base cap $1,650 for rifle plus scope MSRP) or PRS Rimfire (Production cap $1,820). For paper accuracy, try ARA Factory. Bolt guns aren't eligible for RCSA Rimfire Challenge and aren't competitive in Steel Challenge.
